What is the CCP Designation?

The objective behind the CCP designation is to provide a benchmark for the elite individual dedicated to becoming the top 1% of commissioning professionals around the world. This designation is not to be taken lightly. The curriculum will be exhaustive and designed to identify only the most dedicated and knowledgeable commissioning professionals in the industry. It will demand respect from peers and carry a seal of approval for employers that CCP charter holders are verified to be the best in their particular discipline for commissioning and startup.

LEVEL I: Basic Commissioning Principles

Curriculum: Level I of the CCP charterholder program focuses on a wide breadth of commissioning principles required of all energy professionals globally.

Prerequisites: No prior commissioning experience. Completion of approved accredited commissioning training. Professionals may also test out of level I with 4 years or more of verified commissioning experience (coming soon).

LEVEL II: Advanced Commissioning Principles
(Coming Soon)

Curriculum: Level II of the CCP charterholder program delves
deeper into advanced commissioning principles across all disciplines.

Prerequisites: Professionals must have two years of verified
commissioning experience and hold a CCP level I Certificate.
Professionals may test out of level II with eight years or more of
verified commissioning experience.

LEVEL III: Discipline Commissioning Principles
(Coming Soon)

Curriculum: Level III of the CCP charterholder program focuses on discipline level commissioning specific to the candidates elected discipline. This level commands a strong comprehension of the discipline which is chosen.

Prerequisites: Professionals must have four years of verified
commissioning experience and hold a CCP Level II certificate.
Professionals may test out of level III with twelve years or more of verified commissioning experience.

LEVEL IV: Advanced Discipline Commissioning Principles
(Coming Soon)

Curriculum: Level IV of the CCP charterholder program will prove the candidates mastery of the chosen discipline. A final thesis will be required to secure the level IV certificate and the CCP charterholder designation.

Prerequisites: All level IV candidates must have at least 6 years
of verified commissioning experience and hold CCP level III
certificate.
